On-demand True Peak measurement: unlike most meters that oversample continuously (constant CPU cost), VamaMeter lets you switch between a lightweight Standard mode and a ×4 oversampled ISP mode, activated with a single click — useful in CPU-heavy sessions with many instances open at once.
Geometric-signature hard-clip detection, not a simple level threshold: the plugin identifies genuine clipping plateaus even when the signal has been turned down in gain afterward (e.g. after an output limiter) — a classic amplitude threshold would miss this entirely.
Per-channel clip halo directly on the goniometer (independent left/right), with intensity proportional to the actual severity detected — not a simple on/off light.
Fast-refresh FFT spectrum without sacrificing resolution: overlapping analysis window (recalculated roughly every ~43ms) while still using an 8192-point FFT for fine low-frequency resolution — a trade-off many analyzers compromise on in one direction or the other.
